User Settings is where you can manage your profile and preferences. It’s readily accessible from any page in the emnify Portal by selecting the avatar with your initials in the top-level navigation.
In User Profile, you can edit your name or select your organization’s name to be taken to the Organization Details form.
The Language dropdown lets you switch the emnify Portal to one of the following languages:
In the Authorization section, there’s your email address with a Change password link. However, you can’t change the email address used to log in to the Portal.
Multi-factor authentication (MFA) lets you add an additional layer of security to your account. As of March 2024, MFA is mandatory for all non-trial emnify Portal accounts to proactively safeguard our IoT ecosystem and meet regulatory security compliance. For more information and configuration instructions, see Set up multi-factor authentication.
Once enabled, your Account security shows the authentication type used in the Users table, and you can also manage trusted devices.
At the end of the page, there’s a Download my GDPR data link that allows you to save a gdpr.txt file containing the following information specific to your account:
You can’t delete or close your emnify account in the Portal. To request account deletion or account closure, contact the emnify support team.
If you want to keep your account but need to be removed from a specific Workspace, someone with the Administrator role can remove you from the Workspace.
