emnify REST API
The emnify REST API lets you monitor and manage M2M connectivity, SIMs, and devices from the programming language of your choice. For example, you can synchronize SIM and device activation in the field and query and control networking functions from the application. You can also query usage and cost statistics. Additionally, you can also retrieve and send SMS via the REST API.
Due to the extensive API offerings, you can develop your own connectivity management platform or integrate your existing service platform. The emnify REST API is well documented and based on the OpenAPI Specification OAS3.
The REST API and the emnify Portal overlap, but they don’t offer the same set of functions. Some tasks are available only in the Portal, such as ordering from the SIM Shop and managing invoices and payments. Some API functions have no Portal control, such as sending concatenated SMS or running an eUICC audit.
