Live usage

The Live usage report is a dashboard showing real-time PDP context activity and data traffic for your devices. Use this report to monitor current connectivity events and traffic patterns across your fleet.

Questions this report answers

  • How many PDP context events have occurred in the last 24 hours?
  • What does PDP context activity look like in the last 60 minutes?
  • How much data traffic has my fleet generated over the last 24 hours?
  • What is the current data traffic trend in the last 60 minutes?

Log in to your emnify account.

Navigate to Reports.

Select Live usage from the report list.

Available data

PDP Contexts Last 60 MinutesBar chartPDP context event counts over the last 60 minutes, in 5-minute intervals. Use the All and Inv toggles to switch between all and inventory events.
Traffic Last 24 HoursChartData and SMS traffic volume over the last 24 hours.
Traffic Last 60 MinutesChartData and SMS traffic volume over the last 60 minutes.

Live usage data refreshes automatically. For historical daily trends, use the Daily usage report.

Filters

Apply filters

Click the filter icon at the top of the report to open the Filters panel.

Select a Workspace from the dropdown to narrow results to a specific Workspace.

Click Apply Filters to update the report.

To reset all filters, click Clear all.

Download report data

Each chart and table in this report includes a menu (vertical dots icon) with download options.

Click the vertical dots icon on the chart or table you want to download.

Select Download, then choose a format:

  • Export to .CSV — download as a comma-separated values file
  • Export to Excel — download as an Excel spreadsheet
  • Download as image — save a screenshot of the chart or table

The same menu also provides Force refresh to reload the data and Enter fullscreen to expand the chart or table.
