Daily usage

The Daily Usage report shows day-by-day data consumption and SMS activity across your device fleet. Use this report to identify usage trends, spot anomalies, and compare consumption across time periods.

Daily usage data is updated every few hours. For real-time data, use the Live usage report.

Questions this report answers

  • How much data did my devices use each day this month?
  • Are there any unexpected spikes or drops in daily data usage?
  • How does this month’s daily usage compare to last month?
  • What is the daily breakdown of upload versus download volume?
  • How many SMS messages were sent or received each day?

Log in to your emnify account.

Navigate to Reports. The Daily Usage report is selected by default.

Columns

UploadData uploaded on that day (MB or GB)
DownloadData downloaded on that day (MB or GB)
TotalCombined upload and download volume (MB or GB)
SMS MTNumber of mobile-terminated SMS received

SMS TotalCombined SMS MT and SMS MO count

A Total row at the bottom shows the sum across all days in the selected period.

Filters

Filter by date range

Click the date range dropdown (shows Current month by default).

Select the desired time period: This week, Last week, Current month, Last month, or Last two months. The table updates automatically.

Filter by Workspace

Click the Workspaces filter. Your current Workspace is selected by default.

Select the checkboxes next to the Workspaces you want to include in the report. To include all Workspaces, click Select all.

Click Apply. The filter shows the number of selected Workspaces (for example, Workspaces (1)).

To remove the Workspace filter, click the X next to the Workspaces filter.
