Single sign-on
The emnify Portal offers single sign-on (SSO) with select providers. SSO improves account security and simplifies user administration.
SSO comes with the Pro Package.
Providers
- Microsoft: built-in integration with Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory)
- OIDC: OpenID Connect is an open standard for authentication and authorization. Use this provider for OAuth 2.0 identity providers.
- Google: built-in integration with Google
Where to manage single sign-on
You set up and manage SSO on the Single Sign-On tab in Workspace settings. The tab appears only when both of the following are true:
- You’re in your default Workspace, the Workspace that opens when you log in. The tab doesn’t appear after you switch to another Workspace, so switch back to your default Workspace first.
- Your role includes the permission to view SSO settings. The SuperAdmin and Administrator roles have it. A custom role has it only if the role includes the Single sign-on (SSO) permissions. For details, see Single sign-on roles and permissions.
If you don’t see the tab, ask a user with the Administrator role in your default Workspace to set up SSO or to update your role.
