Usage history

The Usage history report is a dashboard showing data traffic trends and unique endpoint activity across your fleet for a configurable date range and aggregation. Use this report to analyze consumption patterns, compare traffic across periods, and review per-period upstream and downstream volumes alongside endpoint activity.

For real-time (last 60 minutes and last 24 hours) traffic, use the Live usage report. For call detail records, use the Call detail records report.

Questions this report answers

How much upstream and downstream data has my fleet generated over time?
What is the total data volume for a given period?
How many unique endpoints were active per day, week, or month?
Which countries or operators account for the most traffic?
How does traffic for a specific endpoint or SIM compare to the rest of the fleet?
Can I export per-period traffic and endpoint counts?

Navigate to this report

Navigate to Reports.

Select Usage history from the report list.

Available data

Name	Type	Description
Data Traffic Total	Tile	Total data volume for the selected date range (for example, 41.6k MB).
Data Traffic	Stacked bar chart	Upstream and downstream data volume (in MB) over the selected date range. Use the All and Inv toggles to switch between all and inventory traffic.
Unique Endpoints	Bar chart	`endpoint_count` of unique endpoints with activity per period. Use the All and Inv toggles to switch between all and inventory endpoints.
Data Traffic	Table	Per-period `event_hour`, `upstream`, and `downstream` values with a Summary row totalling the range. See Data traffic table.
Unique Endpoints	Table	Per-period `event_hour` and `endpoint_count` with a Summary row totalling unique endpoints. See Unique endpoints table.

Data traffic table

Table breaking down data traffic per period for the selected date range and aggregation.

Column	Description
`event_hour`	Period start timestamp, bucketed by the Aggregation filter
`upstream`	Upstream (device-to-network) data volume for the period, in MB
`downstream`	Downstream (network-to-device) data volume for the period, in MB

The final Summary row shows the upstream and downstream totals across the selected date range.

Unique endpoints table

Table breaking down unique endpoint activity per period.

Column	Description
`event_hour`	Period start timestamp, bucketed by the Aggregation filter
`endpoint_count`	Number of unique endpoints with traffic during the period

The final Summary row shows the total number of unique endpoints with traffic across the selected date range.

Each table can be sorted by any column and includes a search bar and a dropdown to show 10, 20, 50, 100, or 200 (default) entries.

Filters

DateRange	Yes	Date picker	Last week	Select a time range. Click the calendar icon to edit. Choose a range type (for example, Last) and then select: Last day, Last week, Last month, Last quarter, or Last year. The actual date range is shown.
Workspace	No	Predefined	None	Searchable dropdown listing the Workspaces you have access to. Only available with multiple Workspaces.
Country	No	Predefined	None	Searchable dropdown listing countries where your devices have had network activity.
VPLMN	No	Predefined	None	Searchable dropdown listing visited public land mobile networks (operators) your devices have connected to.
Endpoint	No	Predefined	None	Searchable dropdown listing endpoints (devices) in your fleet. Use to narrow the report to one or more specific devices.
ICCID	No	Predefined	None	Searchable dropdown listing SIM ICCIDs. Use to narrow the report to one or more specific SIMs.

Apply filters

Click the filter icon at the top of the report to open the Filters panel.

Set your desired filters. Choose an Aggregation level to control the time granularity of the charts and tables. For DateRange, click the calendar icon to open the time range editor, select a range type, and click Apply. Optionally, use the Workspace, Country, VPLMN, Endpoint, and ICCID dropdowns to narrow results.

Click Apply Filters to update the report.

To reset all filters, click Clear all.

Download report data

Each chart and table in this report includes a menu (vertical dots icon) with download options.

Click the vertical dots icon on the chart or table you want to download.

Select Download, then choose a format:

Export to .CSV — download as a comma-separated values file
Export to Excel — download as an Excel spreadsheet
Download as image — save a screenshot of the chart or table

The same menu also provides Force refresh to reload the data and Enter fullscreen to expand the chart or table.
